Personally, I think the sporran looks good and sturdy but the horsehair tassels are a little incongruous... like they don't belong. Maybe I'm not used to seeing something like this but maybe they actually are bit much for a simple -- albeit nice looking -- leather pouch.

If you want to jazz up the leather, maybe try some tooling and/or studs?
