    Available as a stock item from Bows and Ties. No worries about special orders, No problems with having the forum need to stock them.

    In fact, make it so. If anyone wishes an X Marks Tie please place your order directly with;

    http://www.bows-n-ties.com/dark-blue-ties.php

    Look on the left menu for Dark Blue Ties.

    Scroll down to item SB2025. 15th row down, far left.

    It has been almost three years that this has been a topic of much discussion on the forum. It is now decided and can be put to rest.
    Well done Steve, this seems to me to be a great option for us as XMarkers, with the additional benefit that you aren't out funds to stock an item that might be years in the selling. Also it's nice to have this topic out of the way and be able to move on to other things.

    Diagonally-striped ties (regimental, school, club, generic) are back in fashion in the U.S., which I am happy to see so that I can wear them with my business suits as well. I've always loved them, regardless. At a minimum, I tend to buy in twos, so I got this tie and another striped in brown, tan, and light blue.

    They were never out of style among some!

    Welcome back to the fold...

    True, in the sense that such ties are a classic and never go out of style. But, among those that only wear the latest trends, the striped tie is back.

    I ordered my tie when it was announced on the 24th, but have yet not received it nor any of the other bits of kit I'm awaiting since that time. I'm betting some bean counter (nothing against bean counters, I have friends who are bean counters) somewhere is being made to justify her/his position by meticulously calculating duties (love that new Harmonised Sales Tax) on everything.

    I was hoping to have it for our gathering in Victoria this weekend, but I doubt that will happen at this point.

    And here I thought Harmonised Sales Tax only applied to Singing Telegrams.

    Sorry... OK, not sorry LOL

    Am sorry to hear that you don't expect to have your tie and other jones-items in time for the kilt night. Say hi to Alex for those of us who can't make it at all!

    Now isn't that a coincidence, X. I have friends who are bean counters, too; I wonder if this is an example of six degrees of separation. On subject: I hve two XMarks ties and can make one available to you (in Victoria?) if yours fails to arrive.
