I have passed along everyone's sentiments. She asked me to respond with:

" Thanks everybody. It is the first Sporran I have ever made and I am glad it came out so well. I am just an amatuer when it comes to leather work, so to have so many people who know what they are talking about take notice means a lot"

Now, imho - she is too modest. She is a professional seamstress, and a mighty damned good one. She has made costumes and historical attire that that has lasted over 10 years of heavy use in reenactment groups and Renn Faires. Hell, her sewing machine cost almost as much as my car. lol. But it I know you words mean a lot to her, and when Momma is happy, Daddy is happy, so thank you all very kindly.

So your wife is a reenactment seamstress? Does she have a website? My living history group is always looking for new talent to take advantage of. I could use a new Jacobite shirt myself, one of these days.

She does not have a website. But she has done a lot of work forthe local Renn Faire, Her brother's Civil War troop, and a Scottish reenactment group called the "Stewarts of Appin"

You can see her work on her FB page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=841450248
