Help with the name of a drink

While in Glasgow last summer, my wife and I were enjoying a Scotch at a crowed pub. A friendly gentleman struck up a conversation with us after he ordered a drink. The drink contained Guinness, Coke and Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum. He offered us a taste of the drink and we both liked the taste. He told us the name of the drink but, for the life of me, I can't remember it.

Does anyone know what the name of this drink is and what proportions of each ingredient goes into making the drink?

I don't know the name, but figuring out the proportions is gonna be fun.

Perfect! Thanks. I'll try to make the "The Dogs Bullocks" or "The Dogs Bollocks" tonight.

Looks interesting... might risk the Guiness, but don't have any actual stout (they no longer sell the Guiness stout in Canada. Several years ago they stated selling a much lighter version, sort of a full ale). I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, it's okay. And the further into it I get, the better it tastes (not really a ringing endorsement).

I've used 1oz Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, 3oz Coke, 1 can Guiness, as per the recipe cited above. The Coke gives it a rather Jagermeister undertone, the Guiness is, of course, giving it a smooth feel. In all, not the worst I've ever had but I doubt I'll be doing this again.

And that's my opinion on the matter.

    The Blackbeard!

Pint glass, 2 shots of Sailor Jerry's (Jerry would make Morgan walk the plank. Trust me.), Coke, Guinness.

Fill your glass about 1/3 of the way with ice, pour two shots of Jerry, fill with Coke until about 2 1/2 fingers from the rim and top off with Guinness.
