I do enjoy bacon as much as the dog on the "Beggin Strips" commercial, but that is like enjoying a Busa because it has a nice paint job.
When I make my annual pilgrimage to Memphis, I like to spend a LOT of time on Beale St. for carnage of ribs. While hunting in Louisiana, I will wipe out several bags of hot cracklin and Boudin sandwiches. Then while in Hawaii, simmering for ever in a sand pit, and here, in hillbilly heaven, slow roasted entire wild hog slowly turning over hickory coals.
Dang it! Now I made myself hungry.

Yes Arnold was a piglet who had been adopted by the Ziffles and was being raised as their son. They just don't make TV like that anymore.

I think I've finally gotten used to American Bacon.
