This year the Ferintosh Burns Suppers were held i' the Globe Inn... the Globe is 401 years auld this year (est. 1610- no many pubs this auld still left) The Globe is the pub Robert Burns penned wuz his "Favourite Howff".. an' Burns wuz a regular in the Globe... his "Poet's Chair", the room he stayed in, an' the original dining room arr still intact... we held oor Burns Suppers i' the original dining room... the very same room where Burns himsel' supped! here are some piccies frae the fierst supper.... the assembled guests i' front o' Ferintosh....
