    Add a belt with a big buckle to his middle (instead of a mere line) and change the sword to a typical Scots "claymore" with the quatrefoil cross-guards;

    Very nice. Consider yourself warned, tattoos are as addicting as kilts.

    Yes, they are! I have 2 already. I've got 3 that I want to get.

    1. A Sword with a Rose wrapped around it, dedicated to my kids. my son's middle name is Owen (which means Young Warrior - the sword) and my daughters' middle name is Rose (If you need that one explained ...... )

    2. A Shamrock on my right calf

    3. The aforementioned kilted warrior on my left calf.

    Very respectfully, here's my 2 cents ... go with the idea, but clean it up a bit. I say lose the cape, fix the sword and belt as Woodsheal advised, add a slouch cap. It looks a little "cartoon viking, over the top" to me in its present state. Have fun, and post pics. After the fact, you'll get nothing but complements, so if you want honest opinions, get them before the tat is permanent.
