    I think I stand corrected Zardoz - it has been awhile. Black Velvet seems to be what it was called. Good too, if expensive when you're filling a big punch bowl.

    A 'Black and Tan' is Guinness and Bass ale. - Use Harp Lager instead of Bass, and it's a 'Half and Half'.
    Lately, Guinness have been promoting an 'All-Irish Black & Tan' made with Smithwick's Ale.
    Thanks for the lesson on mixed beer drinks ... I've never been a fan of b&t but I love smithwicks ... I may have to try that one.
