Rather than Sutherland, Kiefer wears the Douglas tartan to honour his Grandfather, The Greatest Canadian, Tommy Douglas.

A Film report was also shown on TV here in Germany. Should be done more often

Michael;
You beat me to it. I thougt I was going to be able to post first for a change.
Glad I looked first. I showed the pic to my 15 year old since I haven't been able to get him kilted for 3 years now.
I think maybe he is changing his mind again, back to thinking kilts are cool. I hope so, I'd hate for him to dress like a girl, and wear pants the rest of his life. LOL

Omg!
Not to judge, but... they all seem to have been struck by the "Long Kilt High Hose Syndrome" Someone should send a memo!
There seems to be an reluctance for men to show their knees these days. It appears to be the present trend in short trousers (shorts here) as well. More and more they seem to be worn half way between the knee and the ankle. Are men suddenly ashamed of their legs or something? We've see a similar trend in basketball shorts over the past 30 years or so. Not sure if they're related.

I like seeing celebrities kilted as much as anyone, although I don't care for the longer jackets being worn. Nor the long kilts, for that matter. But, fashion shows again allude me so perhaps it's a fashion show thing. I do like the tartans too.

Well, I thought that title was reserved for Paul Henderson. I will NEVER forget "the" goal ever with :34 ticks left.

Perhaps you're confusing Henderson with Wayne Gretzky, The Great One. Not The Greatest Canadian though. Wayne only made 10th place.

You both can fight it out on the emergency room while waiting for free health care, while in your mail box your government pension cheque is waiting for you to cash it.
