Sorry so long in getting back on here, had an awsome time at Iron Thistle in OK. Finished third out of five contestants, was quite surprised by that. Blew my own mind in both hammer throws, at home I practice with a 16#'er and can barley get 60' with it at Iron Thistle I threw the light 75'6" and the heavy60'4" took second in both of those.
Yesterday was my second games. Arkansas Scottish Fest. sadly to say there were only 3 competetor's total. but did get 6 new PR's. but stunk up the Hammers go figure.below are results for both games first is Iron Thistle and then ASF

Braemar 24' --- 26' 6"
Open Stone 27' 3" ASF not contested
LWFD 33' 4"--- 39' 0"
HWFD 18' 7" --- 27' 4"
Sheaf IT 16# 20" ASF 20# 21"
Light hammer 75' 6"--- 68' 4"
Heavy Hammer 60' 4" --- 58' 8"
WOB 11" --- 13' 6"
caber 11:00 --- 11:45

At Iron Thistle, the heights events were started at the heights I requested. In WOB at home I had been useing a 28# so was not sure were to start so went with 9', at 10" my first 2 throws missed plenty of height but not over the bar. hit 11" easily but at 12" I was out of gas after so many throws. At ASF I hit the bar all 3 times at 14" she just wouldn't roll over it, Next time 14 goes down. As for Sheaf I had not ever done anything until IT and again started to low and was out of gas. AT ASF I won the sheaf toss and had the bar set at 24' I guess I was feeling a little cocky, just touched the bar all three times, so I believe that 23' is doable.
All in all I love these games, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Next up is Joplin MO. next month, with lots of practice until then.

Cheers Mates and a huge thanks for all of your help.
