Mother-in-law is at home now, and resting better than she was in the hospital. She has her family and her animals, slept for a good 10 hours last night. Hospice is coming in every day.

I'm very sorry to hear the prognosis. It's good that she's back surrounded by her loved ones. You're doing a great job. My prayers for strength and comfort for her and for you all.

Sounds like you have a very close family. If she has that kind of love, it can't be any better. In our darkes hour, family love and support are her best comfort. God be with you all. Our Prayers always with you and yours.

Went to see MIL today, she is on her way out, maybe a week or two left. She told my wife she wanted to go home, she is in her own bed at home. Looking pale and drawn, not her usual and sarcastic self.

Spent 3 days in the hospital, sent to nursing home where they found she has pneumonia, she is on her way back to the hospital. What's her first name? I'll add her to my prayer list.

Not sure how I missed this one, Cormac, but your mother-in-law’s plight seems to have been a drain on the family. It is at any rate good to know that, as she nears her end, she is in your home with her family around her.
I will pray that she goes with as little pain as possible, still in the midst of the family.
    Regards,
    Mike
