Came across this site looking for more on the castle that was at the tip of Sands Point.

In doing so I was reminded of a bit of "castle coincidence", the Castle Gould I worked in many years ago, was said to be a style copied from Castle Kilkenny in Ireland.
In researching a branch of my family history, I recently learned that Castle Kilkenny was built on part of my ancestral lands.
Across a few centurys and a few thousand miles of ocean,... what are the odds ?
