    Raise a glass

I ask the rabble to raise their next glass to Robert Fox; WW2 veteran and retired fireman. My grandfather, diagnosed with liver cancer today. Afraid at 91 they don't give many options. Here's to you, may your house in heaven be as luxurious for eternity as your life on earth could be trying at times.

Raising a glass in his honor now. May he be thought of aye fondly.

Given the bond between those who have served under fire, and that between those who serve in fires, I think remembering one of either group reaches out to all of them, and as long as anyone serves, they are all honored. Just my own thoughts.

    To Robert Fox.........our heartiest thanks!

I'll remember Robert as I lead the Good Friday services this morning. Here's to a grand old gent!
