    Looking sharp Downunder! I checked out that doublet on eBay as well, but alas it was too big for me.

    What can you tell us about your shoes?

    The shoes are from Jas Townsend as are the Buckles, they are straight lasted and you need to wear them a bit to mould them to your feet. I have worn them for about 2 years to functions(weddings, balls, parties etc) and they are comfortable. They are heavy compared to dancing pumps and I had a rubber heal plate put on them as the sole and heal are leather when they come from the store. The buckles are working buckles and are brass. I also have another pair of buckles in white bronze, called the Great Scot, which I purchased from a re-enactors online store in the US.
