    Nine Weeks Later. . .

This is a 25-second clip shot as I was teaching my class about an hour ago. I felt the need to crow a bit, and the one person I cannot tell is my orthopedic surgeon 'cause he'd have a heart attack or have me committed, having just given me a new right hip nine weeks ago. He'd be afraid I'm going to undo all his fine work. If I did it right, this should be a "public" link:

Oddly, I would think crow totem suits you very well...

Many of my relatives have had their hips and knees replaced over the last several years, and have been very thankful to get rid of the old pains. Glad to know you are healing so quickly.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Funny you should say that. . .I have sort of a "special" relationship with The Morrigan. Not one I'd call either good or bad, it just "is".

Speaking of your use of the word "totem". . .My late paternal aunt, Seago Blackstar Whitewolf, was as far as I know the last traditional Comanche medicine woman. . .

    Wow, I just realized she's Googleable: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0925909/

Yes, she had a cameo appearance in that movie as well as having been one of the medicine people doing consulting work for it, as well as some healing work for Seagal.

    Very interesting.
Spent the earlier years of my life in what was once, long, long ago, Comanche territory, but don't know of having ever met someone from the tribe.
    * I do recall my grandmother talking about either her parents or perhaps her grandparents having interacted with the Comanche.. not necessarily in a friendly way, though.

Drat. I thought that by setting the privacy on the clip so that "Everyone" could view it, that would be equivalent to using the "Public" link feature Facebook has for photos and albums so that non-FB users could see it. Apparently not, and there doesn't seem to be an equivalent feature for video clips.
