I am grateful for the update, You and she and your family have stayed on my prayer list since you first mentioned her struggle aways back, and I had been about to PM you to check on her. Much better to be in her own bed, and if it comes to crossing, a privilege to be with someone through the process. I know you'll see her again on another path in another part of the forest.

I struggle a lot with my future-MIL, and my fiancé and I are not even married yet. However, this has drawn on a new perspective. Blessings to your family, you, and your mother-in-law. I pray that she be comforted if the worse comes to pass and if there can be healing that it tarries not. There is still hope, hope in this life and the next to come.
I tread lightly now, but I must suggest that now is definitely the time to be investigating the claims of Christ. I don’t know where you, your family, or your mother-in-law stand, and I don’t need to know because it’s none of my business. But, I can’t not mention it.
I pray you and yours well, and that if it should come to pass that her final moments be of comfort and love amongst her beloveds. May God’s comfort, mercy, and grace abound.

Had another visit with MIL today, after a phone call from her sister. She has gone down hill very fast, no longer eating and drinking, not responding verbally. The last couple of nights by report, she was talking to deceased family members. Probably only a few days left.

My mother passed away a year and a half ago with similar sounding circumstances.
My family's prayers are with you and yours.

My MIL went peacefully in her sleep last night, as my wife said, now she is at peace, and we are happy that her suffering has ended. Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers.
