Bravo sir, a nice look. The hose and flashes are a nice balance to the jacket and waistcoat. The tie and shirt are a nice touch as well.

Wow! Now that is one impressive ensemble. A wonderful addition to any wardrobe.

May I inquire a bit more information about the sporran you wear in the pictures?
Macbean, the cantle is Mk1 MOD issue that I aquired from David Pope and the bag is an original MOD bag that a friend provided. The bag is actually inside out as someone had stuck fur to it before my friend came into possession of it. It also had previously been blancoed. The glue used to stick on the fur is there for the duration so I turned it inside out, gave it a good drink of leather conditioner and another friend made the 2 side tassles.

Very nice!
Good looking outfit there Downunder! I've always gravitated to the swatches of the Poacher tweed when looking at the various vendors wares. It's great to see it in a completed jacket and waistcoat. You wear it well!

I agree Andy...
Wow...wow wow, and wow! I've seen several bluish/greyish tweed jackets and have never been a big fan. I have to say that I'm in love with your Jacket! It just jumped high up on my list.
I also am extremely envious of your sporran...along the lines of what I want Scott to make for me if I ever have some spare cash and he ever decides to make a Hexagonal shaped cantle (vs. his current round ones).
Only criticism is the same that you received regarding the regulation doublet...you must have short arms!! Sleeves are a bit long...but that's easy enough to fix (though it adds to the cost of the jacket for sure!).

Yes I do have have short arms compared to my barrelled chest and shoulders. I am usually a 25" sleeve, but I ordered a 46" chest jacket from Rocky. (all my other jackets are 44", with 25" sleeves and are snug) the extra 2" in the chest and thus across the shoulders is very comfortable, but lets the sleeves drop longer than with the 44" jackets. I am however very pleased with the jacket and waistcoat and will get the sleeves altered. As I said in my opening post, USA kilts did a superb job with service and quality of product and I thank them again.
