Kilts at the Royal Wedding today?

I'm watching the coverage on BBC America keeping an eye out for kilts either out on the streets or amongst wedding guests.

I did spot one wedding guest in kilt, wearing what appeared to be a charcoal Argyll jacket, white hose.

My wife and I are watching on Fox. They've had some discussion about the appropriate attire for the occasion, i.e. the morning suit vs the lounge suit for men, and of course the required wearing of the hats for the ladies. Looks like kilts didn't make the cut.

A fascinator's not a hat, it's an alice band with feathers stuck on it. Should be reserved for school girls and premiership footballers. It's not a proper HAT!

She should take a leaf out of QE's book. Now there's a lady who know's a thing or two about hats!

I did see a lady in a tartan skirt. She was sitting on the front row. The tartan sort of reminded me of the Chattan tartan.

That's 'cause he's not a premiership footballer anymore.
