    Kilts in space

Wonder how a kilt would work in zero gravity?

The sporran is made from the fur of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal.

And the jacket is a Bonnie Prince (Insert name here). The footware is of course Googlie Brogues.

    But, whats the tartan?

    Chris.

It would be floating all over the place.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

He appears well armed with a trumpet, possibly given to him by the Sandwich Maker.

I think that tartan belongs to the MacAzimov's, a sept of the MacHeinlein clan from around Sagan in County Huxley, but maybe Matt should weigh in on this one.

The sporran is actually Nowhatian Bog-hog. Easy mistake. Apparently, this one said "Hi" to the wrong guy.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Do you think "Major Tom" was wearing something like that?

Looks more like a Roman Centurion outfit to me... but with a kilt. Weird.

Oh yeah, that's what we need! We've already got most clan tartans in modern, ancient, muted, weathered, dress, hunting, and some more categories I can't think of. Let's introduce future clan tartans!

That's one Ace Double I don't remember ever seeing. And I would certainly remember because the kilt looks a lot like my wee two-pleated kiddies's kilt!

Actually, I'm impressed by the kilt length since my memory tells me that they were generally worn much longer at the time of the illustration. But of course the length was probably for the sake of manly sexiness.

The cordless remote hole puncher in the holster is a Colt Model 3511 I believe.
