A warm fellow Scottish welcome from middle England. I always wonder why Scots don't seek out more opportunities to wear the kilt. I recently discovered that one of the main memories the local minister had of the time that we lived in Old Kilpatrick, some 19 years ago, was my regular appearances in a kilt. I don't recollect seeing any others locally in the 9 years we were there. If you wear your kilts a lot for long periods of time, you really notice the difference when reverting to trousers.

In 1986 I nearly transferred from my Corps trade to the KOSB band... We could have been twins.

Except I felt there was more future in what I was doing at the time. Thought long and hard about it though as I recall. I think I was right in the end for me at least, considering what I do now.
