    Captain Trevor Greene Wedding

Captain Trevor Greene was a Canadian Army reserve officer who nearly died when he was attacked with an axe at a meeting with village elders in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, in 2006. His now-wife, Debbie Lepore, has supported him in his rehab thoughout. I was aware of their story, but until today I was unaware that he was married in a kilt. The two CTV news videos tell the story. The wedding itself, held in Nanaimo, B.C., (in July, 2010), can be seen about 2/3's of the way through the second feature. There appear to be several kilted men, including the official. I found this very moving.

Wow. That's an amazing story. He definitely looks fantastic in the kilt, but there real wow factor is his story and he is still here to tell it. Thanks for posting this story. Truly inspirational.

Very moving indeed. Thanks for posting that link. I'd only ever seen the first part.

And, I believe that it was a Cape Breton tartan he was wearing.
