Fantastic. I'm hoping to do a similar race next year (The spartan race) and plan to do it Kilted.
Good for you!

That looks great! Like you said, can't even tell that was dragged through the mud. Fantastic. Thanks again for posting your pictures.

Wow, the kilt cleaned up quite well. The P/V materiel never ceases to amaze me.
My SO and I did the Warrior Dash in our neck of the woods a few months back and are going to North Georgia to do it again in mid May. We had a great time and are already signed up to do it again next year.

Not kilted, so slightly OT, but I thought you might appreciate my before/after shots from the WD we did earlier this year.

Nice shiggy socks!
I've got to say, the kilt cleaned up nicely! I wimped out and did not wear my USA Kilts semi trad in the East Texas Warrior Dash--when I got it, it was too nice to wear in the mud. I'm ordering a casual in Black Watch for my next event.
Leatheren--did you feel like the kilt was secure with just velcro?

Nice, cdarwin ;)
Doug, I actually picked up this USAK casual just for these runs. The velcro they use is tough stuff!!! You really have to try to get it undone. Had no problem whatsoever. Not to say that it can't happen, but I'm confident that you won't lose it. I think that crawling around the velcro is a better option than the buckles.
Saw a couple of SportKilts out there, too, and they're also velcro. No one seemed to have issue with those, either. But I doubt they cleaned up as well as this one!
