I went to your site and sampled you music (you'll be getting an order soon BTW) and I really (no pun) love The Reel Thing.

Any more along that line?

Check out High Road to Gairloch-Amazing Grace! It's sweet! And Burning Circles Lament/Ring Of Fire off of the live album are incredible. The studio version is good, too, but the pipes are almost non existent in the mix, where they're very prevalent in the live version. And truth is, they're consistently good, so you won't be disapointed with anything you get!

Drac, Thanks for the kind words. We had a busy weekend playing at a wonderful venue in Loveland, Colorado called The Rialto Theater, and I am trying to catch up on things.

I'm guessing if you liked "The Reel Thing", you are most interested in pipe tunes.

In that case, I would suggest you checkout "Angus Overture", "Talisman", and "The High Road to Gailrloch/Amazing Grace", all of which are on "The Heroic Adventures of Angus Mohr" which is also the one "The Reel Thing" is on. Also on that album, but slower and more ethereal, are "Burning Circles Lament" and "Erin Shore".

There are a couple more pipe tunes on "Symphony From the Ghost Ship". It opens with the pipes playing "Luna" and "Paddy's Leather Breeches", and closes with "Going Home" and a reprise of "Luna", to close the circle, so to speak.

It will be awhile (read as--longer than we had hoped) before it is released but there will be a version of "Andy Renwick's Favourite Ferret" on our current recording project. We may put "Clumsy Lover", and "Atholl Highlanders" (this song appears on the live album "Celtic Concert for Tibet" that is almost sold out) on it as well. We have considered putting together a collection of Pipes Only tunes, as we get the question "which one has the most pipes on it" quite a lot a festivals.

So, a very long answer to a simple question, but that is a weakness I don't seem to be able to overcome.

Had to miss that one... I had family in town, and the Colorado Railroad Museum fired up one of their Shays. Can't miss that! With any luck I'll be able to catch the next show.

I love when the bag pipes are part of the rock music, drums guitar and all. Don't get me wrong I do like jigs and reels that pure pipes but I love when it rocks.

The folk style is good but I grew up on hair bands
