Well there used to be a little "hole in the wall" in the center of Aberdeen called Carmines that made great pizza... if i fold that in half can i claim it's a sandwich?
Or then there was that kebab shop that made really good doner kebabs... sliced reprocessed lamb that is spit roasted vertically and sliced off... cabbage... onions... tomatoes... and dont forget the chilli sauce all wrapped up in a pitta bread...
But then there was a small sandwich shop that made a chicken and humus roll that was pretty good... Why do i suddenly feel hungry???

Make it real simple: Fresh baked homemade bread, a big slice of vine-ripened tomato, and a little mayo.
Of course, if you wanted to add a few slices of really crisp bacon, I certainly wouldn't complain.

Seems to me, nobody complains about bacon. And, no wonder!
Nothing says, "I love you" like a sporran full of haggis!!

Anything from the local shop "Eegees" in Tucson, Arizona. They have the best salami sub with provolone cheese....mouth-watering goodness.

Oh, Good G*d man! Of all the choices in the Old Pueblo, you chose Eegees?!?! How about a Lindy's burger, or a Bisonwitches Wildcat with a breadbowl soup, or a Sausage Deli Omar, or an Ultimate Roma from Roma Imports, or...d*mn it, now I'm hungry again.

I vote for the picnic basket at Lindys. Nothing like potato salad on a burger.

I had a double "velvet hammer" today from Lindys! Wow was that good!

Fried bologna on toasted white bread with miraclewhip always hits the spot. However on a hot summer day a piled high BLT really does the trick; white bread toasted, miracle whip on both slices, fresh lettuce, tomatos that were on the vine in the garden 10 minutes ago, and 6 strips of bacon, repeat as necessary. But my all time favourite sandwich would have to be cold leftover meatloaf on buttered bread. Hmmm.... think we'll have to have meatloaf tomorrow night for supper.
