Anything from the local shop "Eegees" in Tucson, Arizona. They have the best salami sub with provolone cheese....mouth-watering goodness.

Here's the link. How to make a screaming eagle!
That is on the menu. Thank you for sharing.

Got to love that movie.

I really don't think there is such a thing as a bad sandwich, unless it's out of the deli case at your local Quickie Mart! My favorite would be thinly sliced roast beef with a horseradish cheddar, vine ripe tomato, red onion, pickle, romaine lettuce and light mayo on an Oatnut bread. Pair that with a good, cold beer and you can't go wrong!!
That, or a Reuben. MAN! Oh, MAN!! Now, THAT'S a sandwich!!

My 2 fav's are throwbacks from childhood. My mom made these for the beach:
Dark rye, lightly buttered, lettuce, avocado, squeeze of lemon juice to make the salt and pepper stick to it.
Sheepherders bread from Schat's bakery in Bishop, CA, cream cheese, sliced black olives.
Both super simple and don't really need refrigeration. Perfect for the beach or picnic.
@DRAC- I'm going to make the prime rib sandwich for my next dinner club! Thx.

You can't go wrong with fresh garden tomatoes, olive oil mayo, and a little sea salt and black pepper on whole wheat. I'm glad tomato season is near.
I also really enjoy a peanut-butter and thin sliced dill pickle sandwich on toasted whole wheat. Hey, don't knock it until you try it.

Warm egg salad on lightly toasted wheet bread! I warn you that my version of egg salad includes 1 strip of crispy (American style) bacon for each hard boiled egg, all smashed together with a touch of brown mustard, black pepper, a bit of salt and "just enough mayo to hold it all together."
