Make your own 6 pack
I went to the grocery store a week ago with the Mrs and found that the HEB chain has a "make your own 6 pack" with a number of imported and microbrewery beers. Naturally I took them up on their offer so I could sample a few new tastes. I found a new beer to add to the favorites list. A vanilla porter by Breckenridge brewery in Colorado.
I may have to go to the grocery store more often. There are at least 20 more beers I haven't tried

There's a liquor store near us that offers that as well. Sadly, they haven't added the sorghum (or gluten free) beers to the selection yet. We hoped they would so Mickey could try a few of them before settling on a six pack.

Lucky you, beer is more my style over whiskey and I have yet to find a good store that stocks a variety of imports and microbrews around Middle Tennessee. Some days you just want to tip back some McEwans and other days some Erdinger. But around here it's just the big name American and import beers that I can get.

If you have a World Market close by, the will sell you individual bottles and allow you to build six packs. I never miss a chance to buy a six pack of different beers.

Will have to check this place out, shows they have one in Nashville and one in Hendersonville. Both are within a hours drive from the house.

Not sure where you are located but here in Cookeville there are a few Beer/tobacco shops that have a more than decent selection and one has the make you own sixer option.

I'll have to go to my local HEB and see if they have the same promotion.

They do it here in San Antonio too. I thought it was just a local thing, but I guess not!
What's funny is that they supply a generic six-pack cardboard thingy, and half the cans/bottles won't fit in there.
