I have two standards that I wear around the house and two special order models (no snaps) that I wear at camp-out Folk Music Festivals -- dry weather camping, since the fabric takes quite a while to dry.
The standard version is not particularly friendly to my early season vs. late season waist size variations. Thus the special order versions without snaps (belt absolutely necessary).
The OD fabric seems lighter than the khaki fabric. The black and forest green versions that I’ve seen can show some color fading after x washes.
Heavier than an Elkommando, lighter than a USAK casual or Sport Kilt (specialty fabric), lighter and cheaper than a UtiliKilt.
