To sway the thread back to the name of the tartan... I too am a fan of "R'lyeh Sett." Both in memoriam of the ancient one's resting place and because it just sounds good to me.

I like 'Cthulhu tartan' and 'R'lyeh Sett.'

Is there an outside date as to when we can add in a little more?

I so want to get two yards (maybe 2.5) of this too, but not sure if the funds are available for me to commit.

Smile Cthulhu craft project for the meantime?

Genius! The authoress, Lee Meredith, has great ideas (see leethal.net). I don't think I'm ready for tentacles in 3D, or that awesome tentacle-tastic scarf, but I'll show off whatever I come up with.

In the meantime, to use your antsy fingers, might I recommend a connect-the-dots stitch set?

The "cryptozoology" set features Cthulhu, as well as Nessie, and 3 others. There is also a "sea creatures" and "ocean abyss" set if you have extra time, and want to make more friends for your Cthulhu.

Basically, as soon as they've either:

    A) matched existing colourways to our chips that I'm sending off this week,

    or

    B) OK'd the ability to custom DTM our colour chips, we a go and the order will have to be paid for.

I'm hoping to get the chips scanned for the rabble to see and posted off this week, which means we MAY have the balance of 3 weeks left to collect final funds, total yardage and pull the trigger.

I hope you are going back thru the thread and adding the others who are wanting because, as of the last listing, I did not see my requested amount on the order list.

My apologies, but it was never included as I wasn't sure how/if the material could be split/posted or if you'd have to cross ship the order yourself. I also don't know if they will get THAT fractional in their cutting, you may end up at either 6.5 or 7. I'll enquire about that when I post out colour chips.

    As the order stands now:

    Me - 3
    Drac - 11
    EldarKinSlayer - 4
    Jordan - 4**
    Dale Seago - 9
    Llwyd - 2
    Calico - 4
    Danwell - 2.5
    kc8ufv - 5
    g koch - 4
    Hocfutue - 3
    Kiltboy - 5
    jason10mm - 8
    Heartbeat2k9 - 4
    CDNSushi - 3
    Stilleto Rebel - 4
    Herminator - 3
    rmckay - 3
    NorCalPiper - 2.5
    Poohspot18 - 3
    Bonnetmaker - 3
    Michael Flemming - 10
    Geoff Withnell - 4
    Ryan Ross 3
    Droid - 5
    BruceK - 5
    Wolfhawk - 8
    TurboKittie - 3

    126.5 yds.

If there is anyone else out there who gave a maybe/sorta or a conditional yes, now is the time to let me know if you want in. I don't want anyone to get lost in the last minute scramble.

Now is also the time to get our individual financial ducks in a row. When the time comes to order, we won't be able to wait for anyone beyond the time from final quote to sending the order (about a week). I'd hate for people to get left out

This is primarily due to the fluctuating exchange rates, with this amount of yardage even a few tenths of a pound shift will cause a shortfall that I don't personally want to fill.

As of right now the costs are as follows:

~21GBP for the yardage itself (currently ~$34.68)

if you are in the US we have:
    +3% (+$.30) for paypal fees
+3% to cover the international currency fee from my CC (this may go away if Dalgliesh will accept paypal)

for a rough total of $37.05/yd

    For non-US orderers:
    +4% (+$.40) for paypal fees
+3% to cover the international currency fee from my CC (this may go away if Dalgliesh will accept paypal)

for a rough total of $37.55/yd

I'll end up doing the final math and posting a US/non US total per/yd once we have the final quote and based on the week's exchange rates. But these should give everyone a good idea of what the final yardage costs should be - barring wild currency swings.

If the currency exchanges are very volatile we may have to either have a smaller ordering window or add a few cents per yard to cover market swings.

Okay, count me in for 2 yards. I'll make sure I save my pennies for this.

Can I up mine to 3 please, just to make sure I have enough to get a decent box pleated kilt for himself out of it, 2 might be just a bit tight and it would be awful to not quite have enough. Hoping to get a corset cover for me out of the rest to go with a steampunk outfit I have in mind

Mickey requested I change my request to 3 yards instead of two.

I hope it is not too late to do this.
