    James,

Is the fabric a custom-weave from Dalgliesh? If so, which colors were used? I very much like that the blue and green are strong and rich (unlike Lochcarron's Anceint pastel shades) but are very distinguishable from the black stripes (unlike Lochcarron's Modern colors.) Very sharp!

    Cordially,

    David

It's a custom weave from Strathmore actually. Our local St. Andrew Society (Baton Rouge) commissioned a bolt some years back and haven't sold it all off yet. It's also nice because they've not raised the price with the rest of tartan wool (I think it was $65/yrd double width, that's about $10 less than a stock tartan from Strathmore, but that was the going rate when it was originally bought). :-) I don't know exactly what colors were used since I was not involved in either the design or weaving of this one. I'm pretty sure that the blue is some sort of custom dye though. The green may be a stock color. One definitely can see the blue from a distance. Thanks. :-)
