I tend to watch it whenever I can and then for as many episodes as I can fit in. I'm at Season 3, episode 8. And I'm still waiting for the young lady character (previously posted picture) to be introduced into the story!

Spartan Tartan: She first appears in the next-to-last season, I think, so be patient. Don't rush it. Enjoy.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Does anyone know what tartan is used for Duncan's kilt? I am not too good at recognizing tartans, but his seems familiar....

It's being repeated again on ITV3 and yet again I missed Hector's death scene!

Oh and Duncan's kilt is Hunting Stewart by the looks of it.

Duncan McKay's kilt is indeed the Stewart Hunting Modern.

There is a "Hamish Clark Fansite" run by two ladies, one of whom told me that there were three such kilts made for Duncan. After the series was over, he gave one each of the kilts to them and kept one for himself.

One of these days before I enter my dotage or, better yet, maybe afterwards, I'm going to get a SHM in the HoE Regimental tartan (18 oz.). :-)
