Just for clarification the chips are for matching the greens?
The antique moss is out of the park and the pine forest is good but I'm not sure where the dark as night is for.
Also is there a chip for the purple? With monitors it's hard to tell the matching of the purple thread to the tartan.

Jim,
there are no chips for the purple, as it was generally decided that the purple was good. I'll send up sending part of the thread back to verify that we get the colour we want.
Paul is correct, mostly, in that there are four colours.
The moss green (Antique Moss) a dark green (Pine Forest) a VERY dark green (nearly black, which is the Dark As Night), and then the purple as represented by the thread sample.

Thanks for clarifying the confused. Or maybe it is the madness setting in from knowing too much about how the world really is.
Works for me.

It wasn't until I saves the original picture of the tartan and viewed it in another program (like paint) that I could see the difference in colors. On the thread, my computer screen makes it look like there are only three colors. Man, wow... now that I see the light and dark greens for what they are... I love this pattern even more. In my opinion, the light green chip is a little too bright, but, not by much. I think the purple is spot on.
I enjoy sharing my opinion, but I absolutely don't want my input to halt production or anything like that. I know I will be happy with whatever the final product is. I'm just stoked that I will be a part of this whole thing.

I'm getting more excited about this project by the minute, though I must admit that I agree with all of the below:

So yes, I think Droid said it as well or better than I could have.
Scott, you're doing a yeoman's job here- Absolutely top drawer!
...and Jim, I think the madness inherent in such knowledge is rampant in this thread.
