Northwestern? Nope. The University of Portland (mascot is the Pilots, as in river pilot). A good Holy Cross school, while I tend more towards the Church of Scotland ilk.

And Merry is wearing a pair of Doggles, ILS, in the extra-small size. She does enjoying going for rides, but at 8+ years old, she's only good for a couple of hours riding. After that, she walks stiffly for another hour or so.
