The Virginia Renaissance Faire has begun! Celtic Weekend is 6/4 & 6/5. Military weekend will be the weekend before 5/28 & 29th. I’ll be belting on the plaide for one of those Saturdays.

Fredericksburg's newest Celtic band, Aon will be playing both weekends.

I may try to make the Celtic weekend. On the 28th I'm marching with SAMS in a Memorial Day parade in Bowie. Monday, I'll be participating with SAMS in Memorial Day ceremonies at the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam (soldier's, nurses, and Wall) Memorials.

Well last Saturday didn't happen because of work demands. So, I'm trying again this Saturday. I'll be hanging at the Pub tent in the afternoon.

I can't make it this year, Ern. The wife and I are busy every weekend getting things ready for my son's wedding on June 11th. It's going to be an outdoor wedding at our place, with a Scottish theme. Lots of MacLachlin and MacNeil kilts, a piper and a Celtic band for the night long reception. I've spent the last couple of weekends on my tractor, bush hogging areas to park 30 or more vehicles, and clearing out a lot of poison Ivy. Anyhow, have fun, and I hope to see yopu at Williamsburg and at the Meadows Highland games in October. Albanach will be at the Meadows this year and 7 Nations at Williamsburg.
