A Challenge
I have thought a lot about posting this thread recently, then hesitated, but have finally decided to test the water at least.
A few weeks ago I got into conversations with a colleague about our various fund raising things we do for local charities.etc, To cut to the chase, he has offered me £100, for me to give to a local hospice which over time has cared for several of my wifes and my own families, if my welsh rugby scarf can circumnavigate the world and return by the beginning of this Dec 2011 in time for our folk club christmas carol service in the 11th century church next to our cottage.
So, the only way I know how to complete the task is via you guys here at xmarks. Would you be up for helping me make the challenge. The scarf is light and would not cost a fortune to forward on and or need extra secure packing etc. If one could post a pic of it on its travels either in your local pub, dance, out walking, that would be brill, as I could copy them out in a pic travel log and put them all up for the local parish to see inside the church.
So, enough rambling from me ... If you could let me have some feedback that be brill. Would be fun as well as helping a great cause who reply on donations to be able to continue their good work.
Hope this post ok here ...

Best send it southward to start the journey. It's a bit warm up here on the top side of the equator. Once things cool down a bit in the fall, I'll show the scarf a sight or two in the desert ; )

Nice one, Derek. I don't suppose sending the package 500 miles North will help much!

Texas here. Be happy to help with it.
Is there a paypal where we could also add to the total of the hospice fund? That would be cool too if we could do so.
