    The Happy Customer!

Here’s the happy customer with his new Artificer sporran and belts. Scott is a real delight to work with. He keeps you informed of the process and sends you photos or artist renditions of options you are considering. My sporran even came in a nice cloth presentation pouch where it can be safely stored. I heartily recommend The Artificer to you. Well done, Scott! Cheers!!!

I had a pair of similar goblets in college, although mine were of seeded glass, and a touch larger than yours.

I love the bar you're at as well. Very cool atmosphere for a drink at the games.

    New update:

Jack Daw had contacted me a while back regarding a few brass cantles he'd gotten his (lucky) hands on, and was wondering whether I'd be able to make new bags for them.

After a few emails back and forth about what he had in mind, he posted the cantles off to me. Below is the result.

On the left is a hand made cantle, bag in very supple black cow hide. We'd originally planned for pigskin, but finding good pigskin is quite hard at this point, and the material I'd originally sourced was disappointing (to say the least) when it arrived and was sent back.

On the right is an Ex-MoD cantle, bag in tipped brown pigskin. I love working with pigskin, as it's incredibly tough for a given thickness, while still maintaining a good level of softness. It makes for a fantastic sporran.

Below shows both bags open, displaying the varying attachment methods in the two pieces.

The hand-made sporran is laced to the cantle with leather thong (the original bag was laced with thread). The MoD cantle uses E-clips to attach the bag to the cantle on the brass studs inside.

Absolutely spectacular! How many hours did it take you to complete it?
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.

Beautiful heirloom sporrans. Exquisite workmanship. I envy your artistry. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
