Is this something we'd have to do on our own? Does someone have the formula for the thread count?
If you'd like some yardage, talk to Artificer.
As for my kilt, I'm torn between a four (or even five, with some overlap of the pleats, inside?) yard box pleat, or a five-six yard knife pleat. Matt Newsome must, undoubtedly, play some part in this.

I have enlisted the help of Dr. Nick Fiddes to try and speed communications and samples along. Hopefully we'll be ready to pull the trigger soon, or at least know that we can get no closer in colour matching yarn to the original colours (which would be bad)

I must say that after reading MoR's review and revisiting Matt's site, I'm now torn between a box pleat and Kingussie.

After MANY hours of intense lucubration, I've finally reached an epiphany.
I've finally determined who I'd engage to make a kilt from the Miskatonic tartan... I've joined Matt Newsome's impressive waiting list, for a 5-yard Kingussie...

Random thought of the day: if it's not already out there, somebody needs to start a "what kilt pin will you wear with. . ." thread!
Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].

I'm thinking about casting the Lovecraft Elder Sign in pewter for a kilt pin
Either for that or as a cap badge.
