Cool pics. Last time (only time, actually) I was there it looked alot different. It was the end of the summer of 1996. Three of my college buddies and I spent a week in Vail with expeditions to the surrounding areas, including Ind.Pass. I have a ton of physical photos, but no digitals. That was a fun (and expensive) week.
Wonderful pics. I've not been there in years. On another note its now 91F (32C) here and HUMID. At least it's cooled off a bit from yesterday.

Fantastic scenery! It looks similar to the road that features in the opening sequence of Stanley Kubrick's film "The Shining" (one of my favourite movies).
