The Utah Scottish Festival and Highland games
The Utah Scottish Festival and Highland games were held this weekend at Thanksgiving Point just south Of Salt lake City This is my 6th year attending this fantastic event. It seems to get bigger and better every year. The weather was perfect. The food was excellent. The bands were awesome. The entertainment included the Wicked Tinkers and Molly’s revenge. There were dozens of vendors and many clan tents representing our clans. The truth is I was having so much fun I just forgot to take any pictures. My daughter snapped a couple of the bands.

Of course no kilted event is complete without a picture of a beautiful lady on your arm. This one just happens to by my sweet and beautiful Daughter Shannon

Thanks for the pictures, Matty!
I was sorry to miss the festival and games this year, but I had a family reunion to attend.
I plan to be at the Cache Valley Scottish Festival this year, though; if you and other X-Markers will be there, we should get together.

Aye, I was there. My wife and I and me boys had a great time. We've been going to this event for the last 5 or 6 years. My wife picked out 2 fine kilts. Solid Black with 3-inch pleats and Hunting Stuart with 1-inch pleats. I wore my Hamilton Grey.
Thanks for the pictures.
