Gorgeous kilt! I really like the tartan and they way it's pleated. I cant wait to see it on you.
May I ask what a kilt passport is?
Good.
What is it?

That is one AWESOME kilt Barb T. made for you. We were teased with her earlier post showing the flash that will be revealed with the swish. You will enjoy that kilt and the attention it will bring. Congratulations. Another BarbT. masterpiece.

Unfortunately, the only camera I have available right now is my phone, and, while the camera on the back takes pretty good pictures, it doesn't have a timer. I tried taking it myself, but I just couldn't get a goo enough angle. I promise some shots the first time I make it out of the house.

It's a document made by the Scottish Tartans Authority that acts like a document of ownership/passport. You can put a picture of the kilt in there along with your personal information and the kiltmaker's name and date of commission. There's also additional pages for when you pass the kilt on to a new owner, so they add their own information and help document the history of the kilt over time.

I actually mulled that over after the thought came up. I believe I'm going with Fiona.

What a great looking kilt. Can't wait to see a shot of the pleats in action after Barb's teasers. BTW welcome to the Tewksbury owners club.

A standing ovation for Barb!!! And congrats on being the EXTREMELY fortunate owner/operator of such a fine piece of work. Given the photos in the other thread, I think what we need here is VIDEO of this masterpiece going away from the camera to watch that amazing reveal in action. And failure to provide same in timely manner should result in charges filed with the infamous and widely feared Kilt Kops.
