I'm not involved in any of this, but can you imagine what the tartan weaver is going to say when you call up and say, "I'd like to order a hundred and twenty six yards of tartan, please,"?

They'll think there's a pipe band that should not be in formation, probably.

What they said was "Thank you"

Just imagine the terror they'd strike in the hearts of the competition.

As an interested observer of this process, did the dye house in Selkirk that burned down a few weeks ago hinder this tartan's production?

Nope, I spoke directly with Dalgliesh about that. Apparently there are two large dyeing firms in Selkirk. They use the other one- so while it certainly is a local jobs disaster, it won't effect Dalgliesh directly.

Apparently the elder gods are protecting us in our endeavor.

Well, we missed the planetary alignment last month, but I'm sure there will be some cosmological phenomenon happening somewhere so we can say this was woven "then the stars are right"

Every kilt maker on this site is going to be SICK of this tartan over the next year! We will probably have 30 or so kilts made? Is anyone gonna give us a group discount? :P
