Camo XKilt Finished,
Well Now I feel like I can really crank these out, 2 days of work part time, and I made one with a pocket,
So, pics of my third kilt, in a little over a month,
4th to come soon, Ill start working on it relatively soon,

Now I had a thought, Primarily because I was bored and made these out of 550 cord and wanted something to do with it,
I was considering attaching a sporran using the 550 cord clip straps instead of nylon straps, chain, or clips and d-rings,
I included pics to show the depth of the pocket, and the cobra style, and the king cobra, black over green,
Opinions please,

Really cool bro. Can't wait to see more of your work.

550 cord work is awesome! I'd use it for sure. I like the bottom one best, with the multiple colors.
I saw a guy (active duty Army Sgt.) with a digital camo kilt, and he had a digital camo bag for a sporan. It was some piece of issued gear, if you're in the Army. I'm not, so I don't recall what it was, but it looked great with the kilt, and held things well. Some sort of small bag that you'd wear in the field -- hung from included hooks.

Love it.
But, looking forward to seeing a picture of you wearing it.

I like the idea of using short straps for the sporran on this type of kilt, kind of the way Amerikilt does it. The fastex buckles work really well with the look of camo.
FWIW, dump pouches can make good sporrans. You might check Cheaper Than Dirt and Sportsman's Guide. They often have good deals. Black would work alright with MARPAT, as would coyote tan, which is what the Devil Dogs use.
Looking forward to seeing more...you're giving me some ideas too.

I'd say that looks pretty sharp. Really good job on this one. A few washings to loosen up the fabric and it will be even better...but that's the nature of these types of fabrics, not a comment on the workmanship.
