A New and Different Comment by the River
So I love rivers - grew up by them. Particularly like exploring the Colorado River and its tributaries. So, after breakfast Saturday drove out to Sand Island near Bluff, Utah to take a gander at the San Juan River.

This is looking downstream as the San Juan flows to the Colorado....or rather Lake Powell these days....but it used to be the Colorado River.

And this is looking upstream...water flows down from the San Juan Mountains - makes sense it'd be the San Juan River....
So while I'm here there's a couple there taking pictures too. The lady finally comes over to me and says, "You're not what I expected to see on this trip." I responded, "I travel in comfort." Which prompted and "All Right!!" from her husband.
And, another river pic.

This pic is the Colorado River itself near Moab, Utah, just upstream from where the Green River flows into it.
