ATTENTION PIPERS and those who like that stuff...
I just sent this email out to our pipe band customers, but I figured that I'd post it up here as well as I know we have a lot of pipers:
Hello,
I wanted to drop a note to all of our pipe bands to show off some exciting new products we've come out with in the past year, specifically geared towards Pipe Bands. Some things are brand new and USA Kilts exclusives!
$339.99 Standard Doublets:
We have all seen 'import' doublets which are cheap in both price and quality. We've also seen 'proper' Military Doublets made in Scotland with an appropriately high price tag. After long discussions with our jacket supplier about this market and different price points, we are happy to introduce our new "Standard Doublet". It keeps the look and QUALITY of our Military Doublet, but for a fraction of the price! These doublets start at $339.99 and are, in my humble opinion, the BEST Doublet on the market under $400:

Firefighter Themed Bagpipes:
We've had an idea for 'Firefighter Themed' pipes for quite some time now, but don't know much about pipes themselves. After speaking to dozens of bagpipers about different brands of pipes, we finally settled on RG Hardie to produce these for us and trust their opinon as the experts. Made in Scotland, these pipes feature engravings inspired by the occupation of firefighting and the pipe package can be customized to your specs. Here are a link to the Firefighter Bagpipes and "Sticks and Stocks Only":

Horsehair Sporrans:
Over the past few years, we've had many loyal Firefighter and Law Enforcement pipe band customers. To better serve them with more options than standard horsehair sporrans (and to match our Firefighters Memorial and Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial tartans), we designed new horsehair sporrans, which we have made in Scotland:

Rain Capes:
Who likes piping or drumming in the pouring rain? Not many people... that's why we started carrying the Bandspec Rain Cape. Made in Scotland of quality materials, these capes feature a no slip patch under the arm, pockets for your drumsticks, a deep pocket for a Glengarry and come in their own belt pouch carry case:

If you have any questions about any of the products here or need bulk pricing (orders of 6 or more per item), please feel free to give me a call at our shop (610.948.4110) or reply to this email. If you know of any other bands / pipers that may be interested in anything shown here, we'd appreciate if you would forward this email along.

I wish I had a Bandspec cape instead of the cheap kind. The snap-up outer cape is especially useful for pipers if the wind is blowing -- prevents the cape from messing with the fingers.
