Um... No... Not hypocrisy there at all. One set of people know how to dress with dignity; the other set of people are simply dressing with vulgarity. Vulgarity and ignorance need to be addressed. I'm sorry, but if you're knowingly walking around with your *** hanging out and your pants nearly off, your soul purpose is to offend. How can these people not know that that kind of thing is offensive? It's not even in the same realm as wearing a kilt!

We are all judgemental and in the great scheme of things, I think that I would prefer a person to criticise someone for their dress sense rather than for their gender or sexual orientation or religion or the colour of their skin.

The difference between us and a lot of other people is that while, yes, we do judge, we tend to do a little research first. They see us, men who are obviously very masculine, yet wearing a "skirt" and instead of asking questions and learning something, and then making their judgement, they just point and laugh. On the other hand, I see a man with a towel on his head and a knife sticking out of it, I go and ask him questions! I learn new words like "kirpan." So personally, while I agree with you to a point, I would rather not be scoffed at by people who are too stupid to ask simple questions. And really, that's the definition of stupidity- a refusal to learn when presented with information. It's not ignorance- when I asked about the kirpan in the turban, I was ignorant because I didn't know, so I asked and I learned. Stupid people don't do that, and those people, I have no use for. That's how I personally judge people. The ignorant, I like. We can be enlightened. Enlightenment does a great deal to improve the quality of the judgement.

I've learned from personal experience that stupidity can be painful. I wouldn't call myself wise; just experienced.

I wouldn't call you "wife" either
