I've been to many, many Embro Games on Dominion Day. Very happy memories there. We always picniced on Colonel Sutherland's property, or on the kirk lawns.

Here is a photo of my mother, a friend, my sister, and me at Embro in 1969:

    Enjoy the day!

We went to Embro last year. Met up with Robert from RKilts and had a general all around good time. Nice interlude between a week in Windsor with the in-laws and a week in Toronto with the kids / grandkids.

    Enjoy!!

So . . . we went, we saw, we photographed!

Pictures including everything from bands, caber toss, and a wee highland cow born this spring, and even yours truly with my beautiful lady!

And yes, we saw Robert! Lovely display!

I see you have your priorities in the right place, with all those pictures of the 'pipes.

Sandy, you haven't changed a bit since that picnic picture was taken.

I'm an absolute sucker for pipes, especially a massed pipe band.

I was very, very moved by the York Regional Police Pipe Band who dedicated their performance today to the memory of Cst. Garrett Styles, killed in the line of duty this last week. Right thing to do!
