Wonderful photo!
I am reminded of my visit to England in July 2007 for the World Scout Jamboree. Even though we were much further south than where this photo was taken (we were in Chelmsford, Essex for those that know where that is). I remember having more light late at night - even at 2 or 3 in the morning - than I was accustomed to seeing at home at the same time of night. It's usually fairly dark here - even in the city where we have a plethora of streetlights. At the Jamboree, it wasn't necessary - for me anyway - to use a flashlight (torch) at night for just walking around, and there wasn't much artificial lighting being used at night.
Fabulous.
Living in a valley in the south of Scotland I miss the almost continuous daylight of high summer, but I don't mind the small amount of extra daylight in midwinter.
