Greetings from Eastern Pennsylvania
I figured it was about time to actually get an account and post something, considering how much time I've been spending reading these boards in the past few weeks...
I'm not of Scottish ancestry, but I've been playing Scottish fiddle (among other styles) for folk dancers in the Philadelphia area for several years now, and I decided it was about time that I procured a kilt for myself. About two weeks ago, I finally took the plunge and paid a visit to Rocky at USAKilts, which is conveniently located about 45 minutes from me. Now I just have to sit and wait for it to be made, which is its own special brand of torture.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and thank all of you that have made these forums a remarkably enjoyable and informative place to spend one's time.

You made a good choice with going with Rocky for your first kilt.

Welcome from the highlands of northern New Mexico!
I'm envious of your ability to simply go visit Rocky. I can only visit via his web pages. Yesterday, I received a strikingly colorful and perfectly fitting Law Enforcement Officers Memorial casual kilt from USA kilts, so I empathize with your wait.
My only advice is to think of something more important than your impending kilt, like ..., like ..., ... I can't think of anything. ;-)
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
