Help needed finding a Jacobite style sporran

I have been putting together a Jacobite kit, and am pretty satisfied with everything but my sporran. I am looking for one that is all leather (no brass cantle). Anyone know of some good custom makers that would be up for the challenge?

    Thanks!

    Wyvern

Another excellent choice is Donnie at Wyvern Leatherworks Here:

I have three of his sporrans, and couldn't be happier with his products or service!

I've been considering a Wyvern myself. Good to hear an endorsement.

You can't go wrong with Ferguson-Britt or MacKenzie Frain.

Ferguson Britt and Artificer are two craftsmen that you could NEVER go wrong with. The very best in the business, if you ask me.

Personally I love the one that mat posted, way out of my price range at the moment (maybe someday...) but if youre after something a little cheaper, then usakilts and stillwaterkilts have a couple of "rob roy" style ones at around $60... Or you can find instructions for making one fairly easily online...

Thanks, gentlemen. I had seen all of these options already, but it was very helpful to hear the endorsements so I know they are worth the investment. Since historical accuracy is my chief concern, do any of you have photos of original sporrans to compare these options to?

    Thanks again!
    Chris
