Thanks Derek and John (sorry John, I haven't figured out how to include multiple quotes in the same post yet )
It was a very nice weekend with great weather and some diverse activities. Hopefully one, or both of you , or all four of you as the case may be, will make it this way some day, and I can show you the sights!
Regards,
Brooke

Several years ago, in my pre-kilted era, I attended a conference at Squaw Valley in late April. Flew into Reno, rented a car, visited Trukee on the way. After the conference, drove up to Donner Pass, saw the same views as your photos (they bring back memories). Snow was over the railroad snow sheds above Donner Lake. Drove to Lake Tahoe and back to Reno up over Mount Rose where the snow along the road was higher than the car.
Beautiful scenery, a whole lot different than southern CA. I really enjoyed the great photos, but where is the photo of you striking the "Irish Lass" pose in your kilt?

I've been out of Sacramento since 2002 and while I don't miss it, I DO miss the Sierras. Tahoe's a fantastic place and I did LOTS of camping in Kyburz over the years.
Nothing says, "I love you" like a sporran full of haggis!!

I'm still working on it old friend! By the time you get out here I should have it all lined up. However, something tells me you aren't exactly hurting in the feminine attention area!!
Cheers!

Great Pics...
Brooke...I neglected to comment the other day when you posted these pics. Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed them. You inspired me to take the Mrs. on a hike yesterday...complete with salami, cheese, and crackers as well! Look forward to seeing you again soon...Pleasanton, if not before!
