Father Bill... If this is not breaking or bending the forum rules too much; may I ask where you ordered that sporran from in Canada. Since seeing it I can not live without it. I need it, want it and must have it!

Ordered from Stillwater. Still Jonesing; it's probable that the Canadian Postal Strike screwed up delivery. I just hope it didn't bounce back to SWK. I'm pleased to say that they also refunded about 50% on the shipping costs via PayPal.

Seems they have screwed up since you ordered yours a couple of weeks before me and I have now got mine.
Hope you get it soon, let us know.
Chris.

I paid tax on both of mine (Black and Brown) but then that IS the story of my life. Both were stopped at a sorting office about 10 miles away from my house (oddly not the main sorting office which is nearer) and were held to ransom pending payment of duty and fees.
I got a card through the door telling me to pay up and collect within a week or the sporran gets it, They didn't quite send me a bloody severed pouch flap and the note wasn't made up of cut out and glued down news print but the message had a similar effect.
The cost was £8 Duty and £8 Post Office admin charge. If your sporran doesn't get stopped you're lucky but if anyone else UK is thinking of ordering one, you need to factor these additional costs in as probable, before you commit. Total cost to me in Her Majesty's British Pounds, and at current rates £64... each. (original converted price is 30 quid).
They are the best sporrans ever mind and well worth the investment. They go with just about anything and practical? I'll tell you how practical they are, There are several pockets secured by zips or velcro which allow you to store.... zzzzzzzzz
Chris. Order yourself a brown one. There's nothing like variety.

These sporrans are really an excellent piece of kit.
Mine is practically the only sporran I wear, unless I'm going somewhere formal.

It's here this afternoon! No extra taxes etc., and I love it. Soft and supple, and therefore even more comfortable than I had imagined, not to mention huge inside!
Canada Post said they'd have their backlog cleared up by the end of this week, so here it is - exactly as shown in the pictures except softer than one might expect. It will become my normal informal sporran, I'm sure.
Thanks a million, Jerry!
